Pastors & Staff

Greg & Sherry Riether

Lead Pastors
Greg and Sherry founded Healing Grace Church in 2005.  They have a passion for helping people understand the Gospel and for leading people into their own daily encounters with Jesus.
Pastor Greg is a graduate of Oral Roberts University and Wartburg Theological Seminary.  He has been pastoring congregations since 1988. He has authored 6 books including the Real Grace Series - The Teachings of Jesus, The Parables of Jesus, and The Miracles of Jesus.
Pastor Sherry leads the Human Resources Department for a local company and loves participating in worship, teaching and preaching at church and conferences, and spending time with family.

Bruce & Buffy Johnson

Executive & Assistant Pastors
Bruce Johnson is a native of South Dakota and is much better built for the coldness of the prairie than the Oklahoma heat, but he is learning to love wearing shorts in the winter! God called to Bruce while he was on a rocking chair in Nicaragua (He had likely been calling for awhile-but Bruce says he finally slowed down enough to listen) and led him to lay down a corporate career and pursue ministry full-time. Since then he has served in both traditional church pastoral roles as well as sports ministry with Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Bruce loves the many opportunities God gives him to take the message of the gospel outside the church walls! He has led many youth and college groups on missions trips around and outside the United States.  Prior to coming to Healing Grace Bruce also served as a chaplain to local high school and university football teams (Go Bobcats, Dolphins, and Jackrabbits!) and in the fall the football fields and the coaches and players in the locker rooms still pull on his heart!

One of Bruce’s great joys is to come alongside people and help point them to Jesus as He reveals the truth about what it really means to be a son or daughter of our awesome God!

Buffy Johnson is a true Southern lady originally from Thomasville, Georgia and she partners in ministry with her husband Bruce at Healing Grace Church in Tulsa. Buffy has always had a passion for God’s word and has had conversations with the Lord since she was as young as three years old. She loves sharing the stories of what He’s done for her with a flair that only Southern Gals can muster!
For over 20 years, Buffy has successfully run her own business and she is extremely thankful for the way God has used her business to bless her family financially and as a platform to share her heart for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Buffy’s passion is to share the truth of God’s heart for his children and likes to do that with the people that God places in her path each day, and anywhere else she may be invited!

They are thankful to have walked through life together for 30 years with their children Jessica, Jacob, Siri, and Sophia.
